I went through your previous posts because i read your statement about you being an unexperienced but passionate photographer.
I cannot critique your photography because it is a subjective discipline and i am biased in my own way.
But there are "Masters" that you should study well. Look at their pictures and try to understand what they tried to tell the viewer.
The "Old Masters"...Today's Masters are few and everything else is dilettantism.
There are even quite a few compilations on You Tube about Big Master's work.
Cartier Bresson ...Ansel Adams...Robert Doisneau...Frank Capa...Andre Kertesz...Sebastião Salgado...James Natchwey
These are just of the few greats.
If you watch their work, you will definitely see your dream come true.

Like the image a lot! Just a little hot on the background for my taste, but not too much. Composition is great and the relflection work very well. Color is excellent. Was this in France? I didn't realize there was a Hot Rod culture there! I wonder how it differs from the US one?

Thanks! This shot was taken on my deck, and one day, (the only snowy day in the south) I looked out and saw those silly flowers and laughed out loud at the idea that giant metal flowers were growing in my flower pots in the middle of December. Glad I could capture the moment.

Thanks Jim! I had always debated about whether or not to crop this photo, and I see that it would better frame the subject if taken in on the left. [Also if this photo hadn't been taken with a shitty camera :) ]

I like the pairing of the three photographs. The "outtakes" I think are even a bit stronger than the other images. They show genuine character.

First off, thanks for the comment on my blog. I like this picture for what you were trying to do. I was at an aquarium yesterday and came out with pretty much nothing usable, but I like the silhouettes and brightly coloured jellyfish. (The only thing I might have done a bit differently is crop the left side a bit to get rid of dark edge of the window so it was just the blue of the water and the silhouettes.)
